The Trachtman residence is a high end apartment located on the U p - per East Side in Manhattan across from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This renovation design was in - tended to fit the needs of the client as their second home. It was important to the client that the design be ultra-contemporary in contrast to their very traditional first home. My tasks in this project included preparing construction and bidding documents, drawing out elevations, details, and extensive plans. In addition, I built a 3D model of the space and prepared detailed rendered images and presentation work for the client, as well as researched construction and design materials. Throughout this process, I worked closely with the principal architect in office and on-site to achieve results the client envisioned. This project was completed October 2013.
