Winning Competition Proposal // Residence // 2016 // TENDER DOCUMENTS
The Ambassador’s residence in Washington DC was a competition that we won first prize in. It ‘s design is consisted of three white clean volume of different shape and sizes either hovering or laying directly on the ground. An Jerusalem stone wall sits in the ground as a foundation with 12 symbolic columns. On the other side of the wall, the formal entrance and serene patio with a large olive tree in the middle is situated. There is a clear divide in the plan between the formal spaces for guests and private residence of the Ambassador. The residence was carefully designed and tastefully decorated creating a peaceful and Israel style environment while adapting into the Washington DC environment. The project is fully designed and ready for tender. We are awaiting funds to start construction.
